Establishment of Joint Venture Company “AMCON-SBS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED” in India

AMCON INC. has established a joint venture company, “AMCON-SBS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED,” on March 31, 2026, in collaboration with its local sales partner, SBSEnviro Aqua Concepts Pvt. Ltd., with the aim of expanding its business in India.

In India, demand for wastewater and sludge treatment is rapidly increasing due to ongoing economic growth and urbanization. In addition, stricter environmental regulations and accelerated infrastructure development are driving greater demand for high-performance water treatment technologies.

The new joint venture will establish a local production system for AMCON’s core product, sludge dewatering equipment, by sourcing key components from local suppliers and conducting final assembly at a local factory. This will enhance cost competitiveness and strengthen the supply system.

Looking ahead, the company plans to gradually internalize the production of key components and expand its product lineup to include other water treatment equipment such as dissolved air flotation systems and sludge dryers. The joint venture is positioned as a key hub in South Asia and is also expected to serve as an export base to neighboring countries in the future.

AMCON’s sludge dewatering equipment has been adopted in 78 countries and regions worldwide, and India is one of its key markets. Through this joint venture, AMCON aims to establish a locally rooted business structure and contribute to solving environmental challenges in India and surrounding regions, while continuing its efforts toward the realization of a sustainable society.
